Looks like snow is on it's way, and even I have to concede that yes, it is a bit chilly out there,we have already fleeced the over winter onions just as a precaution. This time of year is perfect for going through your seeds and making a list of any replacements,as well as checking through all your saved seeds from last year for mould or damp. I have been so busy in schools recently Ive not had much time to blog (knew that would happen) But in brief, thank you to the woodland trust (www.woodlandtrust.co.uk) for kindly donating 90 shrubs to St.Patrick's, they will not only provide habitats for lots of lovely wildlife, but also a natural barrier around one of our growing spaces. The children loved planting them in, hazel, holly, hawthorn, dogwood and dog rose. We are also getting 420 more shrubs from them next spring at the allotment, thank you!
