After cooking for a living for the majority of my adult life ,it was only a matter of time before I made the natural progression to growing my own food. I worked as an on the road chef for twenty years for artists like the Rolling Stones ,Robbie Williams, Sir Cliff, Kylie and many many others...until.... 2007 brought our precious allotment which soon became our favourite place to be. (Which proves that gardening really IS the new rock n roll!) This passion for gardening soon led to quitting the road and swapping the tour bus for wellies and wheelbarrow. After completing qualifications in horticulture, adult training,' Working in Neighbourhoods' and 'Working in the Young People and Children's Workforce' I developed a strong desire to spread the 'Grow Your Own' message in conjunction with healthy living and eating.
